privacy policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

ENSŌ.7 is an international architecture and interior design studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the rights you have over it.

It applies to enso7.com and to the enquiries and correspondence that reach us through it. If you have any question about anything below, write to us at welcome@enso7.com — a person will read it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect the details you enter into it: your name and last name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email address, the description of your project, and whether you have asked to receive news and updates from us.

If you contact us directly by email, telephone or a messaging service, we keep that correspondence and any information contained in it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, the type and version of your browser, your device and operating system, the pages you view, and the date and time of each request. We use this to keep the site running, to diagnose faults and to protect against abuse.

Website measurement

We measure how this website is used with our own analytics beacon. Each time a page is opened, it sends a short record to our own system at crm.enso7.com containing the address of the page you viewed, the page or site that referred you to us, the website address you are visiting, and a visitor identifier.

That identifier is a randomly generated string. It is not derived from your name, email address or any other detail about you. It is stored on your device in your browser's local storage under the key _nvid, so that several visits from the same browser can be counted as one visitor rather than many.

This measurement is first-party: the records go to our own system and are used to understand which of our projects and pages people are interested in. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any third-party service that follows you across other websites, and we do not sell or share this data for advertising. You can stop this measurement at any time by blocking scripts or clearing local storage for this site in your browser settings.

What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data — such as information about health, religion, political opinions or biometric data — and we ask that you do not include such information in your project description.

2. How we use your information, and our legal basis

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project — because doing so is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering people who approach our studio.
  • To provide our design and architectural services — where this is necessary to perform a contract with you.
  • To send you news and updates about our work — only where you have given your consent by opting in. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
  • To operate, secure and measure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining a safe and functioning service and in understanding which of our projects and pages people are interested in.
  • To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations — where we are required to do so by law.

Where the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data applies, we process personal data on the equivalent grounds recognised under that law, including your consent, the necessity of processing for a contract to which you are a party, and the protection of our legitimate interests.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries. We set no advertising cookies whatsoever.

  • Strictly necessary — entries that remember your language preference and keep your session active while you browse. The site cannot function properly without these.
  • Measurement — the _nvid visitor identifier described above, held in your browser's local storage and used only to count visits to our own site.

None of these are shared with advertising networks, and none are used to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites. You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though it may forget your language preference.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not trade it. We share it only:

  • with the infrastructure and hosting providers that operate the servers and email systems on which this site and our correspondence depend, acting on our instructions;
  • with consultants, contractors and specialist collaborators engaged on your project, and only to the extent needed to deliver the work;
  • with our professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers, where necessary;
  • where we are required to disclose information by law, by a competent authority, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. International transfers

We are based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and we work with clients and collaborators across several countries. Your information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from a country other than your own, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or the UK, we do so on the basis of an adequacy decision where one exists, or otherwise under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Transfers made under UAE law are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to two years, so that we can recognise you if you return to us. Records relating to projects we have delivered are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as is necessary for our contractual, insurance, tax and legal obligations. If you have subscribed to updates, we keep your details until you unsubscribe. Website visit records and server logs are kept only as long as they remain useful for understanding how the site is used and for keeping it secure, and are then deleted or aggregated into anonymous statistics.

7. How we protect it

Access to enquiry data is limited to the people in our studio who need it. The site is served over an encrypted connection, and our systems are kept up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and act promptly if something goes wrong.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — to ask what personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy.
  • Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
  • Erasure — to ask us to delete your information where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it.
  • Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your information while a concern is resolved.
  • Objection — to object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Portability — to receive certain information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
  • Complaint — to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, or with the UAE Data Office.

To exercise any of these, write to welcome@enso7.com. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity first. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

9. Marketing

We only send updates about our work to people who have asked for them. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing from marketing does not affect correspondence about a project we are working on together.

10. Children

This website is intended for a professional and adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

Our site may link to external websites and social media profiles that we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the policy of any site you visit.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version is always published on this page, with the date at the top showing when it was last revised. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
