A family home on a rare site between the mountains and the ocean — crowned by a 360° terrace that takes in both.
The name says it all: Summit for the mountain landscape of Mauritius, Sea for the ocean below. The client wanted a complete family residence — for living, hosting, sport, wellness and rest — a few minutes from restaurants and shops, yet entirely private.
Timber, glass and dark stone step up the slope; each level has its own garden terrace and its own view. At the top, a panoramic roof terrace opens to mountains, greenery, sky and sea.
Inside, double-height light falls on a sculptural stair, terrazzo floors and a calm palette of natural marble, warm wood and stone, furnished with Italian pieces.
